Betrayed….

March 3rd, 2007 by ayeshah

What a feeling,

You can’t be mad at them,

You can’t hate them,

Yet you can’t face them.

I thought I can trust you,

I thought you were my friend,

But I was wrong,

Oh how stupid was I.

I don’t mind the crap that people are saying about me,

Just as long as I have you to believe in me,

But still I was wrong.

You told me not to believe you,

You told me to be careful of you,

But still I trusted you,

Because I thought you are my friend.

I feel so betrayed,

You hurt my feelings,

You break my heart.

Still I don’t blame you,

Maybe it was my fault,

I was stubborn,

You did warn me about yourself,

But I didn’t listen.

Yet after all that had happened,

I still hope that you are my friend,

I still hope that we could be the way we were,

But will we ever be the same?

Why was I so stupid?!

January 14th, 2007 by ayeshah

Why do life have to be so complicated? It seems like being straight forward is not the best thing after all. People might misunderstood what you say and do. God, please let this nightmare be over soon!

New semester

January 14th, 2007 by ayeshah

Class is starting tomorrow. I’m really really sad that I didnt get the results that I expected (thanks to Bangsawan :-(…). But luckily it didn’t drop below 3.5. Hm…I’m gonna have to work extra hard this semester. I really REALLY really hope I’ll get a better pointer for this semester!

Reviewing 2006

December 31st, 2006 by ayeshah

Hello everyone!

It’s been a while again since I last updated my blog. Time really flies by so fast. It’s already 2007 tomorrow. 2006 has left a lot of memories for me. Let’s look back at this memorable year before we welcome 2007…

JANUARY & FEBRUARY

It’s a quiet start to the year 2006. Nothing much happening. I started to do more performance for seminar. And what were the songs that I played a lot? - The Corrs’! ….hehehe

MARCH

I started to be really busy with the practical exam. Had to quit my piano lessons because couldn’t make time to go for class. I had my Wayang Kulit exam which was really fun. Then I played for Bangsawan Bendahara Garang Perak, which was the exam for the second year students.

APRIL

I got myself a new violin! Yay! …hehehe

The month of April had me occupied with practices for PeTA & Conducting exam.

MAY

I played for Kak Ajud’s PeTA & also for a musical; Uda & Dara - also a project of one of the students doing PeTA.

JUN

Semester break - so did nothing!…hehe

JULY

The new semester started with a music camp. It was some experience for me getting to play in a complete string orchestra and playing quite challenging pieces! Then after the camp, I was involved with Pick-up the Pieces Concert playing for keroncong. And just before the end of July, I got myself a nice surat penghargaan from the Head of Department for the good exam results that I managed to maintain…hehe

AUGUST

Busy with studies…

SEPTEMBER

Here we go, the Singapore Trip! Honestly, the management was terrible. But I had a good time with the friends that I was with on the trip. I had a LOT of memories during the trip. And just before we welcome the month of Ramadhan, ASK held a ‘Jamuan Rasa Sayang’ (I think that was the name if I’m not mistaken…hehe) for all the members of ASK family. A LOT of food there…hehehe

OCTOBER

Back to studying again….

NOVEMBER

It was actually the exam month. In the beginning of the month, Dato’ Ahmad Merican was invited to give a talk. I was really fascinated by what he had achieved.

I also played keroncong at the PWTC for the UMNO dinner or something. It was funny because we were having Music History exam on the next day. So whenever we got a break, we’d be revising the notes!

DECEMBER

It’s actually the semester break. But I couldn’t enjoy the holiday yet. I still had to prepare for my Latihan Konsert on the 8th. I had to go through a lot of things organizing the concert. I even threw a few tantrums in the technical unit room of ASK in order to get it going. This was for my exam, so if I had to slam a few doors, and break a few bones, I’d do it! I don’t care what’s gonna happen. I can be patient with a lot of things, but not with people who tried to mess with my exam! Anyway, glad it’s all over. The concert went fine.

Then the following week, ASK held a workshop on Randai and violin playing. The participants were secondary & primary school students from Negeri Sembilan. I became one of the tutors for the violin workshop. There were 9 of them joining the violin workshop. The workshop went on for a week starting at 9am until 10pm. The workshop also coincides with ASK’s 6th Convocation. I played with the keroncong ensemble again during the event. The workshop then ended with a really good performance from the students during the closing ceremony. So what did I do after the workshop ended? I went to have ice-cream at Haagen Daz…hahaha

The following week, I was asked to perform during the ‘Rumah Terbuka Krismas’ at PWTC. I became a volunteer at last year’s open house, but this year, I get to perform. So off we go (Me, In Nuen & Ina) to PWTC. When we got there, NSO was rehearsing. I was really nervous to play in front of them. And what a disaster it was when the sound system ruined our first slot. Luckily we did well on the next slot….

So December was supposed to be the holiday for me. But it didn’t. So basically my semester break, is really not a break for me. But I don’t mind as long as I can get myself occupied. I really can’t stand staying at home and do nothing!

So what’s the new year has in store for me?…

The new semester starts on the 8th of January 2007, which is a week away. I’m really looking forward for it. Hopefully I’ll managed to maintain my results, and improve my playing skills on the violin. I’m also hoping to get to learn viola.

So that’s all folks. I’d like to say Selamat Hari Raya Aidiladha and a very Happy New Year to all of you. Let’s hope that this new year will bring us more joy and happiness!

Goodbye 2006. Thanks for the wonderful memories.

Toodles…^_^

Selamat Hari Raya

October 22nd, 2006 by ayeshah

Well, hari raya is just around the corner. But I really don’t feel like celebrating it. I really hope I’ll be able to finish my assignments, and that I get to practice more! The 3rd movement of the Four Seasons is really hard, and for some reasons, it’s really hard for me to memorize the middle part of it. I don’t know why! Hopefully I’ll be ready to play it for my PLT exam…

Anyway, Selamat hari Raya & Maaf zahir batin. I’m off to Perlis now…

Finally a week off

October 20th, 2006 by ayeshah

After so many restless weeks, I finally get to relax. Hmm..but why am I not happy? I feel so down…sometimes tired of what had happened. I can just hope that tomorrow will be better. Hmm…

Happy Deepavali

October 20th, 2006 by ayeshah

Just wanna wish a very Happy Deepavali to those of you celebrating it today. I actually don’t celebrate it. A lot of people keep asking me that and I’m already tired of answering it! Not that I blame them but…it REALLY is annoying!

I’m Sick!

September 14th, 2006 by ayeshah

Why?! Why do I have to be sick when the break is over?! I really don’t wanna miss out on any class. Fever, sore throat, cough, flu. I hate being sick!!! Luckily today’s Bangsawan class was cancelled. I get to go home earlier to get some rest, and go see the doctor. And along with the rest, I get to update my blog which I hadn’t done in a while…hihihi

Well, where do I start first?… Oh yeah, the Singapore trip… It’s quite a long story if I were to type it all out. So I’m just gonna go to the good part, which is me getting to buy a violin pick-up!…hehe =P I had been looking for it all over KL, but no luck. I finally found it at a music store in Singapore. It’s a pick-up that is specially made for violin and viola. I’ve tried it out, and it’s definitely worth buying. So next time, I’ll get to play The Corrs’ songs and move around the stage!…hihihi

Do I even know what I’m talking about?…

Anyway!…

The trip to Singapore was fun…but in terms of the management, it was terrible like old vegetable! (In Nuen taught me this…hehehe) There were 10 ASK students who get to go on the trip. The only time that I get to enjoy myself was when we get to go shopping. We get to go shopping the first night we were there and ended up walking all the way back to the hotel. We almost got lost, but it was definitely a fun walk…hehehe. Then the next day before we left Singapore, we went to the music store, and also ended up walking back to the rendezvous point. It didn’t really feel like a long walk because we were walking in a group. AND, we didn’t get lost this time…hehe. Anyway, the trip was mentally challenging, but it definitely was a fun experience.

Okay now, what’s next…

There was a guitar & violin concert last Tuesday at ASK’s Orchestra Hall by 2 Spanish performers. It was a great concert. I really enjoyed it. Me and In Nuen waited for them outside the dressing room to take a photo with them after the show. It was kinda funny because I’ve never done that before…hihihi. Then the next day, they conducted a guitar and violin workshop. I attended the violin workshop conducted by the violinist. She was really friendly. The workshop was really really useful. Hopefully she’ll come again next year! Oh yeah, I also get to take a photo with the MPO conductor, Kevin Field!

And what’s my point here?…

I guess I just wanna show the photo…hehehe

And hopefully I’ll recover from this sickness soon…

Toodles!

Me and the violinist after the show

Finally a day off!

July 26th, 2006 by ayeshah

I can’t believe how hectic the past few weeks had been with music camp, Colours of Rhythm Concert, audition, ISME, and finally Pick-up the Pieces Concert. I finally get to rest today. I know, it’s Wednesday. So what the hell am I doing at home in the middle of the week? Well my classes for today were cancelled. So I get to rest! But I actually didn’t stay home all day. I went to KLCC in the afternoon to find a book for the Music History class. Chambers Music doesn’t have it so I thought Kinokuniya would probably have it. But they don’t. So I ended up buying a Padini Authentics sweater instead. Can’t help it, there’s a sale going on there…hehe =P

Anyway, the new semester started a few weeks ago. I was EXTREMELY happy when I got the results for the last semester exam…hehe =P But it also means that I’m gonna have to work harder. Hmm…hopefully I’ll be able to maintain it throughout my years at ASK.

My violin class in this new semester started yesterday. It’s great to see my teacher again. Yesterday’s lesson was fun. He told me the sound of my violin new has improved. So once again, it’s obviously worth buying!…hehe=P I chose to play Liebeslied for my recital. It really is a nice song, but really is not easy to play. Next, I’m gonna have to prepare a movement from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons! The piece is quite fast. So hopefully I’ll be able to play well…hehe

Okie dokie then, as usual, I’ll update again when I have the time to do so….heheheP7142030
