I’m so excited! I’ll be joining a music camp today. The camp will be held at Kompleks Darul Puteri in Cheras and the concert will be held at ASK. This is my second music camp. I had a blast joining the first one, which was 3E, held in Malacca. The concert will be held n the 14th and 15th. So do come if you have the time! Toodles!

It’s REALLY been a while since I last updated… =P
I went out for lunch with Balqis, Fatin, Suhaili and Basaria yesterday. The idea was just to hang out together and chat so that we can catch up with each other’s life. We decided to go to KLCC. We went there by car with Suhaili behind the wheel. Basa on the other hand would be waiting for us there.
When we got there, Basa was still on her way. So we decided to go window shopping. There’s a sale going on at Isetan, and so we went in there. Just to window shop…but in the end, yeah right! Me and Suhaili ended up buying sunglasses…hehe. The cutest thing was Suhaili had never bought sunglasses before. So she was really excited on putting them on. We went to Kinokuniya to find scissors so that she can illegally cut the price tag on the glasses! hehehe =P I had a great time hanging out with them. It’s really nice to get to see your school friends once in a while.
Anyway, the semester break is almost over. I was happy to receive a letter for ASK informing me about the registration day. I don’t know why but little things like this such as receiving a letter from ASK could really make me happy. Anyway, I’ll be joining the International Students’ Music Camp that will be held from 8th to 15th July. I’m really excited about it. At the same time, I’m also quite nervous about getting the results for the previous semester. Hopefully I’ll be able to maintain my results.
Okay then people, that’s all for now. I’m guessing it’ll probably be a while again before I finally update my blog…as usual…hehehe ^_^
Suhaili with her first sunglasses…hehe =P

I watched "Hills Have Eyes" yesterday at Mid Valley Megamall. This is the scariest movies I’ve ever seen. I’ve never covered my eyes before while watching a horror movie, but this one made me even hide my face! Just who in the world could came out with this kind of story? I never wanna watch a horror movie again! For all the girls out there, it’s best not to watch it…

Why can’t people just BE ON TIME? Don’t they even feel guilty about making other people wait for them? It’s like they don’t care. And if you complained, they say that you’re over reacting. I mean, how unfair is that?

What a week! I thought I’d be able to get some rest after the exam is over. But it seems like I’m even busier now than during the exam. I have to help for PeTA and year 3 students for their conducting exam. It turns out that 5 of them wanted to have string section for their exam. So the violinist are running here and there in one day to get to rehearsals. It’s totally crazy. Hopefully I can bear with it. Luckily the conducting exam is tomorrow. So after that I’ll be able to focus on helping for PeTA.
Anyway, it’s really been a while since I last updated my blog. Well, what can I say, exams! I just got a new violin a couple of weeks ago. I’m really happy with it. This one sounds a lot better than my previous violin. But I’m not gonna sell my previous violin. I’m quite attached to it because I had a lot of memorries with it.
By the way, do come to ASK on the 7th of May. It’s the show for the PeTA student that I’m helping. The show starts at 8.30pm at ASK’s Orchestra Hall. I’m sure you’re going enjoy the songs. ASK Strings rocks!

Finally the semester break is here! This is really the time for me to finish my assignments, and to catch up with my practice. I’ll be playing Schon Rosmarin (Kreisler) for the Performance Seminar after the break ends. I’ve been practising the technique of ‘bouncing’ the bow, in order to play the staccatos in the piece. I really hope everything will go well, and that I won’t be too nervous - I wouldn’t want the bow to be bouncing all over the place! =P
Talking about Performance Seminar, last Friday’s was one of the funniest for me. (And also the worst!). I played twice, the 1st was a song by the Corrs, and the 2nd performance was 2 keroncong songs. The 1st performance was okay (accept for the fact that sometimes I couldn’t even hear myself play because the mike was too high!), but the 2nd one was quite terrible, I mean for the strings section. I video taped the performance. Although it was disappointing, it’s still funny when I watched it. It was really a disaster. The lack of practice was obvious. The semiquavers that we played were all over the place. At times it sounds like stepping inside a haunted house! =P Anyway, it was fun to be playing in a Keroncong ensemble. Hopefully I will get a chance to play again.
Anyways, to conclude this post, I’d like to wish you all, especially the Chinese out there, a very HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Well this is my first post in 2006..honestly, I’m too lazy to update my blog…hehehe =P
I just got home from Chambers Music, where I bought a tambourine. The band that I’ve been playing with for the Performance Seminar is doing songs in acoustic versions, so having a tambourine would be great. While I was at the shop, I also tried a viola from Romania. I’ve tried playing it once last year, and when I play it again, it makes me even more eager to buy it. The price is very reasonable considering the sound. I’m really gonna buy it as soon as I can! Can’t wait to start learning it! ^_^
That’s all I can say for now, I have to get ready to go for the Junior Orchestra practice at Istana Budaya. Have a nice weekend, bye!

The awarding ceremony was held on the 7th of November. I know, I know….this is last month’s news. I forgot to post it before. But I just have to say congrats to my favourite band! ^_^

Well, it’s REALLY been a while since I last updated my blog! Time passes by really fast. I’m in the 2nd semester now at ASK. The start of this 2nd semester has really opened my eyes to the people around me.
But I’m just gonna leave all the ‘unhappyness’ of 2005 behind. The new year is coming and hopefully I’ll be able to focus on my studies. The results of my 1st semester exams were really good. So I’m gonna be working hard to maintain it. Ganbate!
Anyway, I just like to wish you guys a very Happy New Year! ^_^
That’s all, gotta go to school now!….

Hola People!
Well it’s been a while since I last updated my blog. Honestly, I’ve been too lazy to do so, and it’s simply because I wasn’t in the mood for typing… = P
It’s been over a week now since the 3E Music Camp. I should’ve written about my experience sooner, but…oh well, you get the picture! = P Anyway, the music camp gave me a whole new experience. From making new friends to playing in an orchestra, it was sure an experience that I’d never forget. It was really a lot of fun to be joining both the camp and the concert. And also not-to-mention the fun I had with Eena & Emi.
P/S to Eena & Emi: How could I ever forget all those late-nite chit-chats and ‘photo session’ in front of the mirror! ^_^
And now, I’m trying to occupy myself with knitting. I guess I can say that knitting is my latest interest. I’ve started learning how to knit maybe around a month ago. It’s a bit costly if you opted for the best materials, but it’s sure worth the money and effort once you see the result. ^_^
And the new semester is just around the corner. Next Monday will be the registration day, and also the day to get the results for the 1st semester exam! I really can’t wait! It’s really painful just waiting for the results. I can’t wait to know what I get for my violin exam.
Okay then folks, can’t think of anything else to write..hehehe = P Have a great week!
